Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship(gentle upbeat music) - [Instructor] Sometimes we need to capture a picture of something as we are scrolling on either our laptops or our mobile devices.
In these cases, it's great to know how to capture what we are seeing.
If you have a pc, the easiest way to take a screenshot is with the Print Screen key.
To capture your entire screen, simply press Print Screen on the upper right side of your keyboard.
If you are a Mac user, the easiest way to take a screenshot is to press and hold down, Shift + Command + 3 together.
Let's move on to our mobile devices.
Taking a screenshot with them is a little different.
For Android users, open the screen that you want to capture.
Then press the power and volume down buttons at the same time.
At the bottom left, you'll find a preview of your screenshot.
For most iPhone users, to take a screenshot, you just have to open the screen you want to capture.
Then press the side button and the volume up button at the same time.
Then quickly release both buttons.
After you take a screenshot, a thumbnail temporarily appears in the lower left corner of your screen.
Tap the thumbnail to open it, or swipe left to dismiss it.
If you miss the opportunity to tap the screenshot, it should be saved to your photos.
Hopefully, now you are ready to take your screenshots at home or on the go.
If these techniques did not work for you, please go to your device manufacturer's support site for more help - [Narrator] Made possible by a grant from the West End Home Foundation, Senior Trust Digital Initiative.
