Political science professor Alain Sanders discusses what could happen next in the conflict

In a defiant speech on Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin continued blaming the West for the military invasion of Ukraine, falsely claiming Western policies left him no choice but to take action against Ukraine to fend off possible aggression, and using Russia’s annual Victory Day -- which marks the World War II victory over the Nazis -- as a moment to tout Russian nationalism.
