Prosecutors argued Jovanny Crespo 'showed reckless disregard for human life'

A jury Wednesday found Newark police officer Jovanny Crespo guilty of using unjustified deadly force in a 2019 fatal traffic stop. Crespo was also found guilty of aggravated manslaughter, aggravated assault and official misconduct in the death of 46-year-old Gregory Griffin.
