One way we try to balance technology with our son Leo is to have screen-free zones.
We set house rules like no phones or tablets at the dinner table or in bedrooms at night.
Oh, you are too good.
We also encourage screen-free activities.
In the summer, being at the pool together is easy.
Taking a walk or playing games is great too.
There are many different ways you can help limit screen time, such as using different apps and tools.
That technology works for social media, games, and blocks inappropriate apps.
The whole goal is to lessen our dependence on screens.
