Have your child name a rhyming word for every step on their way up the stairs. If they can't think of another word, feel free to give them clues and suggestions.

Start at the bottom of the stairs and pick a word family like ack, int, ed, or op.
- Okay, this time, let's do words that end in IP, like flip.
- [Presenter] With every new word they can think of, watch them climb to the next stair.
- Ship trip.
- Good one.
- [Presenter] If they get stuck along the way, feel free to give them some clues.
- When you're on your skateboard, you do a-- - [Child] Flip.
- Once they reach the top, they can pick a new word family to go back down the stairs.
