Renars gets on a call with Crook and Tina. They strike a deal with Strautmanis to secretly produce fake Levi’s jeans in the hospital’s sewing workshop. Renars and his wardmates begin sewing jeans, which are later sold on the black market. The KGB becomes aware of the sudden appearance of jeans, and Maris is determined to uncover their origin.
