Muslim-American Imran Aukhil remembers the life-changing events of 9/11.
As a high school senior in Chapel Hill in 2001, Imran Aukhil lived an everyday teenage life. That all changed with the September 11th attacks when Imran and his family endured an increase of Islamic hate and misinformation. Imran made it his goal to help educate others on the peaceful teaching of Islam and Muslim identity.
