So I say, "Sure, what do you wanna do?"
"I wanna do a Steely Dan song.
"Let's do steely dance song."
"What do you wanna do?"
"I wanna play drums."
"Okay, well, I trust you, known you for 40 years."
So anyway, after it was over, I mentioned I was doing this record and he said, "I'm playing on your record."
I said, "Yes, you are, absolutely."
So same thing, come down to LA, figure this out, write together, do something totally outta your wheelhouse, something you've never done before.
